Located on 5.5 acres of land in the heart of Springboro, The Historic Aron Wright House stands today like an icon of Greek revival architecture on one of the largest intact historical properties in the city limits, Maplewood Acres.

Built in 1857 by Dr. Aron and Mary (Willets) Wright, Aron’s father, Johnathan Wright, was the founder of Springboro, Ohio – where the house is located off of Central Ave near what is today, Historic downtown Springboro.

The Wright House is known as the first house in southwest Ohio with running water! The house still stands mostly in it’s original glory with the floor plan, doors, windows and woodwork still intact.

Today, the house is home to Dillin, LLC, a land development company owned by Larry Dillin. Larry and Cheryl Dillin purchased the property in 2019 and plan to revive the home and the barn. Cheryl Dillin is personally overseeing the immediate stabilization of the home and the part for preservation and future restoration.
